Despite a vast array of functionality, DTM Map makes it surprisingly easy to go from field to a professional finish.
Import data from Leica, Trimble, Topcon, Zeiss survey instruments or a customisable ASCII file. The user can work directly with polar observations, never losing the raw observations or easily change to working in cartesian XYZ coordinates with a wide range of transformations supported by default along with user defined site grids
Data from a range of industry standard file formats such as DWG and MX GENIO can also be imported.
Data is stored in a tabular format, constantly visable to the user. Processing can be carried out either graphically or by manual entry.
The versatility of the, spreadsheet style, editing grid means that possible mistakes can be picked up on and rectified at any stage of the survey processing procedure.
A history log is maintained keeping track of changes for audit and QA
Multiple traverse routes can be defined graphically to establish the control network.

Contours can be plotted following the generation of a triangle mesh. The contours stay dynamic with the model, so altering a level at any time will alter the contours.
