The software includes a number of useful CoGo and calculation functions which have been incorporated into the setting out software to help with the processing of information. All these functions are intuitive and easily accessed through a toolbar button.
Overlay a background model for display purposes or for the calculation of vectors to a secondary file. Allowances have been made for height differences and nearest point easting and northing, from the editor file to the background model.
After the calculations have been completed, use the setting out software to transfer the information straight to field computers or instruments. Leica, Geodimeter, Sokkia, Nikon and Topcon are supported by NRG Survey Software.
The package includes a compare option to develop a road design level at a given offset. Design information is supported from a number of formats including AutoCad dxf, MX GENIO Bentley files, even a general csv file can be imported and manipulated. Geometry information can be entered by hand or extracted digitally.
Calculate co-ordinates and levels based on the use of alignment strings. Once the alignment has been extracted, a road template can be applied that is based on the design Information. Through a visual process of assigning strings to design elements, the width and cross fall information can be associated with the alignment. This process is ideal for extrapolation of cants and gauges for rail construction.
Export batter rail or profile routine options makes the calculation process quick and efficient. Select the toe and verge strings by clicking the screen and then choose the chainage range for the calculations. Sitewide variables like offsets and traveller heights are stored by the system so they only need to be entered once. Reports can then be produced in a number of different formats.
