DTM Map for Survey Processing
NRG Surveys Digital Terrain Modelling module DTM Map is easy and intuitive to use despite its vast array of functionality. This is the ideal software for the surveyor who wants to prepare professional topographic surveys from raw field observations.
We seamlessly import from Leica DBX, GSI. Trimble Area files and Job files, Topcons GTS6&7, SDR Map, Nikon, Sokkia or just as CSV and ASCII files.
Processing is done by reference to field codes and user defined library that attributes line styles, point styles texting etc. against each field code preparing the map automatically based on these codes.
Editing is very easy in the format of a spreadsheet style and there is no ‘processing’ phase, the software dynamically generates the drawing from the data in the grid updating as editing is done, either graphically or manually.
Processing can be done using Polar observations or Rectangular coordinates.
Printing is made as simple as we possibly could using the DTM Map module. With sets of custom banners which you can edit or create your own, all you have to do is graphically set the print area and scale.
Exporting to other systems such as DWG, Land XML, MX GENIO, Google Earth is all just a click of a button
DTM Map for Earthworks Volumes
We have strived for many years to accommodate all of the various methods and requirements for volume calculations in one easy to use and intuitive digital terrain modelling package and are rather proud of what we have achieved.
Whether the user is recording field data using string lines and dips or GPS and whether they simply need to work out the volume of a stockpile or prepare a detailed bill of quantities then there are tools in the software to make the processes easy and accurate
Volumes can be split into zones, boreholes can be applied to surfaces and volume reports can be detailed enough to give a full earthworks BofQ.
Mass Haul reports are just another tab in the volume report, Benching can be applied automatically to earthworks.
The professional look of the presentation of the results gives you the upper edge in negotiations about quantities. Isopach plans can be made showing the depths of cut and fill. Cross sections and long sections drawn and when using the cross sections module, the volumes can be calculated by cross section verifying any quantities.
Tools for stockpile volumes means you just click the middle of the pile and it tracks round finding the edge.
There are tools for entering surfacing depths by string line dips
You can separate volumes into depths meaning surfacing regulating, different layer types and different depth bands of excavation can be taken from a measure
Multiple volumes can be calculated between models using surface types and these can be put together using surface areas and depths to give different material excavation quantities and different fill quantities such as starter layers, topsoiling backfill, even areas of geotextiles can be developed from the models.
Mass Haul charts are prepared automatically.
DTM Map for Machine Control
Models of finished profiles or more importantly for the earthworks outline may be exported directly via a variety of formats for Topcon, Leica and Trimble system.
