Real-time monitoring allows an unlimited number of total stations to be linked to the software via radio, cable links or remotely across the internet. The software contains a default database of the most commonly used total stations. However, any type can be used by simply entering the communication parameters into the software. The location of each total station can be entered along with its corresponding reference object WCB and HCR. The software can also determine the position of each total station by automatically performing a resection from stable points. A least squares adjustment is then carried out to determine its position. The start, end and interval of the monitoring period can be specified for each total station.
